Job: Technical Services Engineer

Technical Services Engineer Description:

Reporting to the Superintendent of Technical Services, this position is responsible for working with both external and internal customers to ensure that plant products effectively satisfy customer requirements. Responsibilities include:

• Pipe making process analysis.
• Metallurgical/Technical order design administration.
• Customer claim investigation and resolution.
• Product development direction and administration.
• Six Sigma/Lean project administration

Qualifications:

BS Degreein Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Pipe Mill and/or Steel Mill manufacturing processes.  (Experience with other manufacturing processes will be considered.)  Experience in a customer technical service role is preferred.  Six Sigma
