Senior Manager – Plate Mill Operations

Description: Reporting to the VP GM, this position is responsible for managing the operations of the Plate Mill.

• Resolve both production and processing issues.
• Ensure that material is efficiently rolled on-time and consistent with quality specifications.
• Manage inventory requirements and staffing and equipment requirements.
• Direct the timely production and processing of material to shipping, burnout, and custom products departments.
• Ensure that continuous improvement techniques are consistently utilized.
• Recommend equipment maintenance and modifications including replacement of equipment and spares.

Qualifications:

This position requires a BS Degree in Engineering and 5-10 years of progressively responsible Steel Industry Operations Management experieince.
