Safety Supervisor

Description:

Manage all aspects of Safety and Health for a large department in a heavy industrial
manufacturing plant.

• Work with line management to ensure that all employees follow approved Safety and Health
  practices.
• Facilitate/conduct weekly safety meetings for all employees.
• Participated in the development of safety and health management programs.
• Conduct safety audits, at least daily, and implement corrective actions as appropriate.
• Investigate all incidents in conjunction with line managers and union personnel.

Qualifications:

BS in Safety or a related field and 3-5 years of industrial experience.  Experience in a heavy manufacturing
industrial plant is key.
