Description:

Reporting to the Unit Manager of Process Improvement for a modern steel mill, this position focuses on EAF Steel Making Technology.

• Provide rigorous analysis and direction to solve complex issues that arise in the EAF  steelmaking area.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, prioritize the opportunities, and then drive these ideas to completion.
• Write reports on study results attained and present results and recommendations to upper management.
• Provide guidance to other Process Improvement Engineers
• Leverage resources inside and outside of the melt shop to accomplish operating and process
  improvement goals.
• Become the recognized technical expert in EAF steelmaking technology.

Qualifications:

BS Materials Science or a related discipline and 10+ years of experience in  steelmaking.
This position requires very strong analytical skills.
