Plant Safety Manager

Description:

Manage all aspects of employee safety and health in a heavy industrial manufacturing
environment.

• Work to continuously improve site safety and health systems.
• Work with Senior Management with regard to all aspects of promoting and improving employee safety and health.
• Ensure plant compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to department Safety Supervisors
• Supervise employees in Plant Security, Industrial Hygiene and Health.
• Maintain appropriate records.

Qualifications:

BS in Safety or a related field and 5-10 years of industrial experience including management experience..  Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting is key.
