Manager of Finishing – Hot Rolled Sheet Steel

Description:

Responsible for Safety, Quality, Production and Cost for the Finishing Department.  The primary sections within the department are, cooling beds, marking tables and shearing.

• Plan and assign jobs to Supervisor, Lead Persons and Salvage group.
• Conduct training of personnel.
• Document daily activities, shift schedules, and SOPs
• Implement safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Review rolling campaign for quality issues and adjust system to provide 100% defect free
  product.
• Coordinate with the Rolling Mill, Shipping and with Maintenance.

Qualifications:

BS Degree in Engineering or Business and 5-10 years of related experience.
