Steel Casting and Refining Supervisor

Description:

• Supervise casting, refining and degassing processes.
• Achieve department productivity, cost, quality and safety goals.
• Assure correct chemistries and temperatures.
• Monitor the speed of the caster, melt shop production, chemistries, cast rolls, blooms, bloom lengths.
• Perform line-up changes

Qualifications:

Supervisor experience involving steel casting and refining.  A BS or Associate’s degree in
engineering or metallurgy is preferred.  Experience may substitute for formal education.
